Willie (Bill) was born in Parker County the first of four children. The family moved to Amarillo where his siblings were born. Bill married in Amarillo and moved to California. Their son was born while they were there. They returned to Amarillo where he took up bakery work. He moved to Tulsa where he managed a bakery and managed a KFC in Sapulpa shortly before his death.
