For many years Mrs. Parsons and the late Mr. Parsons and family made their home in Dodson before moving to Shreveport. Mrs. Parsons is the sister of Mrs. N. C. Greer of Tannehill who died on April 14, and Mrs. Tennie Banks who died in Monroe on April 28.
Mrs. Parsons is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W. F. DePriest of Houston, Texas, Mrs. E. Guynes and Mrs. F. A. Bewley both of Shreveport; four sons, E. Parsons of Pioneer; E. B. Parsons of Monroe; W. D. Parsons of Roanoke, Va., and Wrightsie Parsons of Shreveport. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
