OBITUARY: The Richland Beacon, Rayville LA, January 30, 1954
Callie Marie Beaube, 26, died Tuesday at her home in Houston, Texas. The remains were brought overland to Delhi under the supervision of Catron-Gay Funeral Home of Delhi.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Catron-Gay Chapel, with the Rev. K. C. Steadman of Houston, Texas officiating. Interment followed in the Dunn Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Beaube of Houston, and four children, Sam Houston, Martha Marie, Geneva, and Jeanette Beaube, all of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Ossie, Clyde and Fred Plunkett, all of Delhi; eight sisters, Mr. Hessie Verritt; Jewell Andy, Annie Harris, Katie Brimmer, Dolly Mae Phillips, Beatrice Plunkett, Gladys Bracken, Sweetie Mae Plunkett; and by her father J. P. Plunkett, all of Dunn.
