Sam married Callie Marie PLUNKETT and they had four children: Sam Houston, Martha Marie, Geneva and Jeanette BEAUBE. Sam was a sharecropper, cab driver and owned a store.

Funeral services for Sam Beaube, 59, 612 Crosley St., West Monroe, La., wil be at 3 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. Fred J. Foster officiating.

Burial will be in the Delhi Cemetery.

Mr. Beaube died Wednesday in a Tuskegee, Ala., hospital after a short illness.

Survivors include a son Sam Houston Beaube; three daughters, Mrs. George Ponsell Jr., West Monroe, Geneva Beaube, Gretna, Mrs. Marie Waltman, Morgan City; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Wallace, Crowville, Mrs. Inez Ezell, Gilbert; three brothers, A. V. Beaube, Gaston, Ala., Lewis Beaube, Greenwood, S.C., and King Beaube.
