George McClure Moore was born in Blue Grass county, Kentucky, Jan. 30, 1861, departed this life Jan. 20, 1933, age 71 years, 11 months and 20 days. While quite young he moved with his father to Rogers, Ark. He was united in Marriage to Ella Lee Morgan Jan. 2, 1884. They moved to Oklahoma at the opening of Caddo county where he made his home until his death.
To this union, five children were born, three boys and two girls; Mrs. Ora Sherar, Butler; Mrs. Carrie Dungan, Gage; Hobart Moore, Cordell; Cecil Moore, Eakly, and Dewey Moore, Clinton.
He confessed faith in his Creator and remained contented in his love to the end. He was a kind, loving husband and father and a very patient sufferer. He leaves to mourn his parting a devoted companion, the three sons, two daughters, twenty three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
