Dies At 93
Mrs. Marv Elizabeth Koch, 93, R 1 Rockford, died at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday at Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford.
Mrs. Koch was born March 24, 1880 in Mercer County, the daughter of Christian and Mary (Bollenbacher) Fisher. She was married to John Koch who preceded her in death in 1952.
Survivors include six children, Arlie Koch, R. 1, Rockford; Glenn Koch, Tharr, Tex.; Mrs. Hilda Eichenauer, Decatur, Ind.; Morris Koch, R. 1, Rockford; Mrs. Maria Snyder, Benson, Ariz.; and Mrs. Margaret Geringer, Toledo; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Koch was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Edward Eberthart officiating. Interment will be in the Chattanooga Mausoleum.
Friends may call at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, after 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, and until noon Thursday when the body will be taken to the church.
