He was a son of Anton and Margaret (Menchhofer) Koch.
His wife, Mary, survived him.
Also surviving were three sons, Arlie and J. Morris, Rockford, and Glen, Pharr, TX; three daughters, Mrs. Benjamin Eichenauer, Decatur, IN, Mrs. Paul Snyder, Rockford, and Mrs. Arthur Geringer, Toledo; a brother, George, Rockford; a sister, Mrs. Henry Baker, Rockford; and thirteen grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Last rites were at the church, with Rev. John Perl officiating.
