Frances E. Haggerty
Mrs. Frances E. HAGGERTY, 86, 924 Monroe street, died at 6 p.m. Monday at her residence. She had been in ill health two months.
Born May 6, 1885, in Miami county, she was the daughter of Herman and Isabelle MILLER FREISER. Her marriage was May 6, 1903, in Miami county to Harley H. HAGGERTY. He preceded in death in 1957. Mrs. Haggerty had resided here since 1921, moving from Marion. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church here and the WSCS of the church. She was also a member of the Froebel club.
Surviving are one son, Roy L. HAGGERTY, Elkhart; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Mildred) BURKETT, R.R. 3, Rochester; Mrs. Howard (Joan) BUNN and Mrs. Paul (Jean) WALTERS, both of Rochester; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Joe (Hazel) BUSSARD and Mrs. Homer (Mary) SPARLING, both of Wabash; Mrs. Abner (Olive) BOHN, Peru; one brother, Leo PREISER, Wabash, and nieces and nephews. Two daughters, one of whom was Mrs. Louise MILLER, and a brother preceded in death.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. F. G. KUEBLER will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home.
