Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 15, 1:00 p.m. at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Roger Jennings, 57, who passed away Saturday, April 12. Mr. Jennings was born October 28, 1946 in Van Lear, KY, son of the late Press and Maude Bell Jennings. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Jennings; two sons, Roger Dean Jennings, Jr. of Fairbanks, AL, Gary Wade Jennings of Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Deana Dials of Paintsville; two step-sons, Warren Lively of WA and Donald Meek of Stambaugh, KY; one step-daughter, Megan Adkins of Paintsville, KY; three brothers, Charles Jennings of Crawford, VA, Paul Jennings of Morehead, KY and Chuck Jennings of Staffordsville, KY; two sisters, Barbara Travis of Fairborn, OH and Shelby Jean McLaughan of Lebanon, OH; one nephew and three grandchildren. The service was officiated by Rev. Roger Hill, with burial following in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery in Staffordsville, KY.
