Paintsville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Maud Jennings Williams who died Sunday, January 5, at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Williams was born in Johnson County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie VanHoose Bell. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Press Jennings, on January 17, 1977. Surviving are her husband, Beecher Williams; four sons, Charles Jefferson Jennings of Van Lear, Paul Jennings of Morehead, Roger Jennings of Stambaugh and Charles Jennings of San Diego, California; two daughters, Barbara Travis of Fairborn, Ohio, and Shelby Jean McLaughin of Englewood, Florida; four stepsons, James Allen Williams of Meally, Beecher Williams Jr. of Ohio, Earl Williams of Fairborn and Mike Williams of Delaware, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Vivan Moore and Alka Mae Williams, both of Delaware, Ohio; one sister, Mildred Crum of Lexington; and 15 grandchildren, 19 greatgrandchildren and several great-grandchildren and stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, January 8, at 11 a.m. at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel, with Elders Claude Mollette, Burns Mollelte and Billy Howard officiating: Burial will be in Jennings Cemetery at Meally.
