Funeral services for William Beaudin, 86, of 336 N. 14th St., Eau Claire, were held at 10 a. m Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cornell, with the Rev. John Nilles officiating. Burial was at the Cornell cemetery. Mr. Beaudin died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls. He was born Feb. 2, 1882 and formerly lived in Cornell where he was employed by the Cornell Paper Mill. He had made his home with his son, Sol, in Eau Claire.
He is survived by five sons Sol, Eau Claire, Ernest, Racine, Glen, Cadott, and Harold and Elwood, both of Janesville; three step-sons, Gaylord Smith, Tucson, Ariz., Bernard Smith, Janesville, and Robert Smith, Eau Claire; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Plombon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
