CC Post, April 25, 1978, Page 6: Harvey DeWitt: Harvey E. DeWitt, 66, of R 2 Churubusco, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Wayne. He had been ill four years. An Allen county resident for 40 years. Mr DeWitt was a retired farmer. Survivors are his wife, Delvia, a son, Richard of Churubusco, three stepsons Jim and LeRoy Blessing of Huntertown, and Bob Blessing of Huntington; a brother, Clarence of Huntington; five sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Eytcheson of R 2 Churubusco, Mrs. Charlie Pressler of Huntington, Mrs. Ollie Lowe of Larwill, Mrs. Laurence Snyder of Roanoke, Mrs. Raymond Webster of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at Krider-Workman Memorial Chapel in Churubusco after noon today. Services will be at the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Stanley AuBuchon of Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Eel River cemetery.
