Mrs. John McCabe, 86, died at the home of Emerson Sell, at Seafield on Wednesday evening at 7:15, after a weeks illness. She had been in poor health for sometime but it was not until about a week ago when she suffered a heart attack that she was confined to her home. She was taken to the Sell home last Sunday to be cared for.
She was the daughter of Nelson and Amanda Conn and was born in Clark county, Indiana. On June 17, 1897 she was united in marriage to John McCabe and they made their home on a farm near Brook before moving to town.
The body was brought to the Hershman funeral home where services will be held on Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be made in Riverside cemetery.
