Nancy Ann's parents were in Blount County, Tennessee for the 1850 census and she was probaby born in that county, but not confirmed. She died at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Carry and Lesta (Miller) Ellsworth, in Trail Creek Township, Harrison County, Missouri. According to Hester McQuerry Taraba Piper, a great granddaughter, Grandma Miller, as she was lovingly called, used to sit in her rocking chair on the front porch, reading her Bible, while smoking a pipe. She also said, "Grandma Miller was embalmed at Aunt Lestie's home."
