She was born February 19, 1905 in Randolph county to Ada Louise Lackey Foust and Samuel Wesley Foust. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Otis Thomas (Slim) Jones; one son, Harold Thomas Jones;one daughter Patsy Jean Jones Stone; two brothers Theodore Newton and Lacy Kyle Foust of Greensboro; three sister Lena Carter and Helen Leonard Collins of Greensboro and Ruby Foust Hale of Roanoke Rapids; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral will be he held at Lambeth Troxler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vincent Wall pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Gray's Chapel United Methodist Church in Gray's Chapel community in Franklinville, NC. (bio by Bobbi Cecil)
