Funeral services for Mrs. Correan Herrington, 79, of Frankston were held Tuesday, January 25, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Frankston with Rev. Robert Waldman and Chris White officiating.

Burial was in the Frankston City Cemetery under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home of Frankston.

Mrs. Herrington died in a Jacksonville hospital Sunday, January 23, after a short illness.

She was born February 2, 1914 in Athens and had lived all of her life in Frankston.

Mrs. Herrington was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in Frankston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Herrington, May 1982.

She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Herrington of Dallas, Curtis and Mildred Herrington of Quinlan; one daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Richard McLane of Frankston; two sisters, Katie Belle Hopper of Canton and Ola Mae Foster of Frankston; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Roger House, Gary House, James Beard, Jerry Beard, Johnny Burks, Jimmy Howell, Gordon McLane and Erv Berry.
