Bertha Mae PFLEDDERER, 77, Rt. 1, Kewanna, died at 8:37 a.m. today at Canterbury Manor Nursing Home. She was born July 17, 1910, in Athens to Francis and Gertrude MOORE McGEE. She had lived all her life in Fulton County. She was married Jan. 20, 1965 in Rochester to Edward PFLEDDERER, who survives. She was a former employee in the dietary department of Canterbury Nursing Home and a former employee of the former Island Park Restaurant at the River Bridge, Rochester. Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Patricia THOMAS, Rochester; four sons, Cyrus "Edward" BEAIRD and Johnny SWEET, both of Rochester, and John L. O'CONNER Jr., Warsaw; twenty-two grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred WORSLEY, Rochester. Preceding in death were a daughter, Barbara MASON; three sons, George, Jack and Earl (Junior) CLARK; three brothers, Clifford, Gene, and Floyd McGEE, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home in Rochester with the Rev. C.J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home an hour before services. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
