DANIEL HERRON

LAPEL - Daniel D. Herron, 86, 927 John St., died early today at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville after an extended illness.

Born in Posey County, he moved to Lapel in 1910. He was a self-employed carpenter and was employed with Delco-Remy Diviosn for 13 years. He was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church.

Surviving with the wife Nellie are six children, Mrs. Donna Rockhold and Mrs. Barbara Presser, both of Lapel; Mrs. Ruth Ellen Troyer, Upland; Clark and Harry Herron, both of Lapel, and Clifford Herron, Anderson; a brother, Wallace Herron, Anderson; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
