In loving memory of Ruth E. Troyer, 87, who passed away at University Nursing Center in Upland.
She was born Oct. 10, 1919 in Lapel, the daughter of Daniel D. and Nellie (Schuyler) Herron. She was a 1937 graduate of Lapel High School. she married John "Bob" Troyer on April 3, 1949 in Lapel. They made their home on a farm in rural Upland since 1949. He preceded her in death March 28, 2001.
She loved homemaking and quilting and was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed cooking for family and freinds. she was a member of the Upland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, David(Debra) Troyer of Upland; three daughters, Susan(Darrell) Eastus of Jonesboro, Sara(Bill) Morse of East Patchogue, NY, and Janet Makowski of Santa Rosa, CA; a brother, Harry Herron of Lapel; a sister Barbara Presser of Lapel; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by siblings Clifford, Clark, John Herron and Donna Rockhold.
