Barbara J. Presser, Lapel, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her home in Lapel after an extended illness.
She was born on June 24, 1936, in Lapel to Dan Herron and Nellie (Schuyler) Herron.
Barb graduated from Lapel High School in 1954.
She retired from the State Bank of Lapel after several years of service.
Barb was a loving, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She loved being around friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Kyle) Trimble of Lapel; grandchildren, Sabra (Tommy) Gentless of Lapel, Summer Presser of Noblesville, and Kylie (Cameron) Maddox of Lapel; great-grandchildren, Aurora, Rowan, Luna, and Jackson. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dean Presser; sons, Jimmy and Jay Presser; and several brother's and sister's.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Aaron Riffey officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
