OBIT: Robert Lewis Kerfoot, 41, of 2001 Stillwell St, was found dead in his home at 2 am today. Dr Grayson Davis, county coroner, ruled that Kerfoot shot himself in the head with a .12 gauge shotgun. A native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, his marriage was to Mary Bushong in Lafayette in 1954. She survives. He was an operational engineer and had worked for Harold Smith Consturction Co. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving with his wife are three sons, Fred Alan, Robert Jr and Randy Mack, all at home; a daughter, Mrs Charles [Deborah] Dever of Linden; his mother Mrs Martha Brown of Lafayette; six sisters, Mrs Robert [Violet] Daggett, Mrs Terry [Pearl] Young, Mrs James [Opal] Likens and Mrs Arnold [Beulah] Pike, all of Lafayette and Mrs Fon [Loretta] Moore and Mrs Robert [Lucille] Cruea, both of West Point and three half sisters, Mrs Donald [Clora] Lowery of Lafayette, Mrs Neal [Kay] Bessler of Monroe, LA and Mrs John [Wilma] Scott of Huntsville, AR
