NATCHITOCHES, La. -- George Christopher Bailey, 72, of St. Maurice died Monday afternoon in a Shreveport hospital after a long illness. He was a retired employe of the state Wildlife and Fisheries Department and a Winnfield native.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today in Sardis Baptist Church near Atlanta with Rev. Roy Moore officiating. Burial was to be in the church cemetery under direction of St. Denis Funeral Home.
