Oscar Bestland was born August 28, 1896, in Minnesota, to parents Ole and Petra
(Dahl) Bestland.
He married Gladys Kise at Trinity Lutheran in Boyd on December 15, 1923. They
lived on a farm south of Hanley Falls, moving to Hanley Falls after they
retired.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Gladys; daughter, Pearl Eye; daughter, Virginia
Stech; and son, Lyle Bestland.
