Boyd on May 30, 1920.
She married Oscar Bestland at Trinity Lutheran in Boyd on December 15, 1923.
They lived on a farm south of Hanley Falls, moving to Hanley Falls after they
retired. Gladys entered the Granite Falls Manor in July, 1993.
Gladys has three children, daughter Pearl Eye, daughter Virginia Stech, and son
Lyle Bestland. She has seven grandchildren, 19 great grand children and 12 great
great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hans Kise and Betsy (Stensrud) Kise;
husband, Oscar Bestland; brothers and sisters: Ida, Cora, Manfred, Henry, Lloyd,
Forest, and Oscar; and a grandson James Anderson.
