Edith E. Bolinger, age 99, went to be with the Lord and walk with her husband, Lawrence and daughter, Irene Clements on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Galichia Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

We have shared her joy and laughter for 100 years. She is the first of 8 children, the daughter of Harvey H. and Emma E. (Olson) Ludlum, born on January 30, 1911.

She was united in marriage to Lawrence Bolinger on November 19, 1932 in Iola, Kansas. This union was blessed with three daughters.

Mrs. Bolinger was a member of the Moran United Methodist Church, volunteering at the Moran Manor. She worked in the fields for many years with Lawrence and taking care of the family. Edith was always busy and a helping hand to many.

Mrs. Bolinger is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lawrence Bolinger in 1979; one daughter, Irene Clements; four brothers, Wilburn Ludlum; Lawrence Ludlum; Arthur Ludlum and Harrison Ludlum; four sisters, Lucille Brown, Gladys Brooks; Evelyn Richards; and an infant sister.

Mrs. Bolinger is survived by her daughters, one of Wichita, Kansas; one & spouse of Wichita, Kansas; six grandsons and one granddaughter; 22 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Moran; burial to follow in the Moran Cemetery. The family will be present to greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moran United Methodist Church.
