MRS. AGNES VOELKEL
Mrs. Agnes Voelkel, 83, of 423 Fourth St., N., Clairton, died yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alvin E. Johnson, 623 Delaware Ave., Clairton.
Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m. in the Elva K. Whetsel Funeral Home, Clairton. Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Jefferson, by Earl E. Deutsch, Elder. Burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Voelkel, the widow of Carl F. Voelkel, is survived by daughters, Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Eva Patton of Mansfield, O., and Mrs. Agnes Payne of Pleasant Hills; sons, Carl F. Voelkel, Jr., Paul R. and John B. of Clairton; sisters, Mrs. Rosella Kemerer of McKeesport, Mrs. Alice Ellenwood of South Barre, Vt. and Mrs. Ruth B. Rothey of Ogden, Utah; and 20 grandchildren.
Born July 23, 1881, in West Mifflin, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Barnes Brown. Mrs. Voelkel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and its Women's Relief Society.
