Note: this may not be the John Rankin who was son of Thomas Rankin and Isabel (Clendenin) Rankin. The birth and death dates are correct, but not legible on this grave. He died in Blount TN and it doesn't make sense he was buried in Fulton, PA. Also he married Jane Waugh and his children (as documented in John's will, which was probated in Blount County) were: Isabel (Rankin) Frow, John Rankin, Martha (Rankin) Wear, Polly Rankin, Jane (Rankin) Duncan, Samuel M Rankin.

This list does not match the children below who are all buried in Fulton County near this John and Jane.
