I see discrepancies in the date of death for Thomas. I did find an inventory for the deceased Thomas Rankin showing a date of October 2, 1810.
I have an autobiography by an ancestor, indicating Thomas Rankin lived to 104 years. That autobiography was written in the 1890s. I suspect the writer may have found a date for a different Thomas Rankin who did die in 1832.
