MOULTON-Funeral services for Mose A. Owens, 75, were to be today at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Church of Christ where the deceased was a member. Mr. Owens died yesterday at 3:55 a.m. at his home on Danville 2 following a three years illness.
Mr. Owens was a lifelong resident of the Five Points Community and was a retired farmer.
Officiating will be Kyle McWhorter and James Ray. Interment in Red Hill Cemetery is to be directed by Brown of Moulton.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Owens; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Johnson, Danville 2; six sons, Clifford, Chicago; Emmett and Marvin, Danville 2; Elmer and Frank, Moulton 2; Willie, Decatur 3; two brothers, Wheeler and Jim, both of Moulton 2; 43 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
