Elmer Earon Owens, 85, of Moulton, died Friday, March 3, 2006, at Floyd E. "Tut" Fann State Veterans Home, was born March 29, 1920, in Lawrence County to Mose and Edna Callahan Owens. He retired from Wolverine Tube Inc. after 23 years. He was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. He was a World War II combat wounded veteran.
Survivors include two sons, Gwyn Owens of Moulton and Terry M. Owens of Decatur; four daughters, Peggy Compton of Trinity, and Debra Boston, Judy Blaxton and Michelle Parker, all of Moulton; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
