Grandma was one of three children born to Annie and Isaac Davidson following the couple's arrival in the US in 1887. She had a busy farm life and many memories.

In 1910, Maggie married Frank Lisle who had inherited the family farm in Clark Center, Dixon County. It was the place his father had built before 1900. They raised their family here and had a good life although Maggie suffered from illness some of the time.

She and her husband moved to a farm closer to the town of Dixon, leaving the family home to their youngest daughter newly married. Following her husband's death, she maintained a trailer home in the town of Dixon. Maggie spent her time traveling the US, sight-seeing and visiting family.

When it became difficult for her to live on her own, she moved to a nursing home in TX. Her son, Everett, and two of her daughters - Florence and Marge - lived in the area. Maggie died at age 96 following bouts with cataracts, kidney disease, heart problems, and cancer. She was returned home and buried in Concord Cemetery, Concord, Dixon County. NE with her husband who preceeded her in death.
