Marge was born to Frank and Margaret Davidson Lisle, probably at home. She was always ambitious in a way; she didn't bemoan her situation, but did something about it which stood her in good stead throughout her life. Marge married Bob Wickett their senior year of high school. The couple started their family two years later and lived on a farm in Cedar County. Bob did farm some, but he was very sociable and turned to sales and traveled. They moved several times including living in CO, midwest NE, and IA. In 1961, while returning from a road trip, Uncle Bob was stuck head-on and killed instantly. Aunt Marge was left a widow with five children - ages from high school to kindergarden.

The family moved to TX where her brother lived. Marge worked in floral design. In 1970, she met and married S. Jack Gambill who may have been a widower himself. They had fourteen wonderful years in Rockwall where they'd bought a home on the lake. He died in 1984. Six years later she married again. Her husband survives her in death. Her son preceded her in death in 2004. She had been in an accident the year prior to her death and never really recovered. I talked with her shortly before she died and she was the same as always; just ready for the next level of her life entering the same nursing home in Rockwall where her mother had been.
