PRICE- Funeral services for Joseph Aplanalp Jr., 50, who was killed late Thursday night in an automobile wreck between Farmington, and Cuba, N.M., are pending arrival of the body in Price.

He was born Dec. 8, 1900, at Vernal, Uintah County, a son of Joseph and Hannah Jenkins Aplanalp. His early boyhood life ws spent in Vernal, and he moved as a young man to Price. He had worked as a miner and mine boss in Carbon County for the past several years.

Mr. Aplanalp married Nona Jones in 1925.

Survivors include his wife, and two sons, Arden J., Provo, and Norman Lloyd, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi; his parents, Los Angeles; four brothers, David Aplanalp, Belmont, Ariz.; Glen Aplanalp, Victorville, Cal.; Carl Aplanalp, El MOnte, Cal., and Clyde Aplanalp, Los Angeles; eight sisters, Mrs. Lydia Roseberry, Mrs. Magnus Frandsen, Mrs. James P. Egan, Mrs. Jack Crews, Mrs. James Spalione and Miss Margaret Aplanalp, all of Los Angeles; Mrs. Alvin Jacobsen, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Marcel Jeanselme, Price, and one grandson, Roy J. Aplanalp.

Funeral services will be announced later by the Mitchell Funeral Home.
