George Grambling had been a resident of Johnstown for ten or 15 years and moved to the Gillman home about three years ago. His occupation was that of a miller, but he had lived a retired life for the past several years. Mr. Grambling was 82 years of age. When the Civil War broke out, he was drafted but did not go.
Mr. Grambling's wife died about eight years ago. Mr. Grambling was the last of his family. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. John Gillman, with whom he lived; Mrs. Cyrus Wissinger, of Salix; Daniel and Solomon Grambling, of Dale Borough; William, of Windber, and Mrs. J. S. Stutzman, of Fronheiser street.
Mr. Grambling was a member of the United Brethren Church. Arrangements for his funeral have not been completed.
