George Grambling lived with a daughter, Mrs. John Gillman, along the Frankstown road, about two miles from South Fork. He had been ailing for several weeks, but was able to be up and around. Only a few weeks ago, he visited all of his children, including relatives in Johnstown. When he did not come downstairs this morning at his usual hour, Mr. Gillman went to his room, finding him cold in death.

George Grambling had been a resident of Johnstown for ten or 15 years and moved to the Gillman home about three years ago. His occupation was that of a miller, but he had lived a retired life for the past several years. Mr. Grambling was 82 years of age. When the Civil War broke out, he was drafted but did not go.

Mr. Grambling's wife died about eight years ago. Mr. Grambling was the last of his family. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. John Gillman, with whom he lived; Mrs. Cyrus Wissinger, of Salix; Daniel and Solomon Grambling, of Dale Borough; William, of Windber, and Mrs. J. S. Stutzman, of Fronheiser street.

Mr. Grambling was a member of the United Brethren Church. Arrangements for his funeral have not been completed.
