William Ray McCulloch, 82, of Portageville, died Feb. 28 at Missouri Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston. Born July 2, 1902 in Dyer, Tenn., he was the son of John William and Emma Johnson McCulloch. He was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia McKnight McCulloch of Portageville; three sons, John McCulloch of Bonne Terre, Mo., Ray McCulloch of Hayti and Robert McCulloch of Portageville; Two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Redmond of Hayti and Mrs. Marillian Boyd of Portageville; One stepdaughter, Mrs. Audrey Sepply of Cullman, Ala.; Two brothers, Silas and Bob McCulloch, both of Caruthersville; Two sisters, Mrs. Willa Jane Estes of Texas and Mrs. Jesse Watkins of Paris, Tenn.; Seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, eight great-stepgrandchildren and three great-great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.
Services were March 2 p.m. at Stanley Wesleyan Church, the Rev. Dan Kennedy officiating, with burial in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, DeLisle funeral Home of Portageville in charge.
Active pallbearers were Steven, Johnny and Terry McCulloch, Tony Boyd, Max Redmond Jr. and Russell Hoggard.
