HOMER K. DANIEL
Homer K. Daniel, 78, of 763 S. 40th St., died Tuesday in a local hospital.
Mr. Daniel was born in Grants Lick, Ky., and moved to St. Anthony, Idaho in 1912 where he farmed until 1942. He then moved to Bellingham where he worked in the shipyards until 1945 when he came to Tacoma where he worked for General Mills until his retirement in 1953. He was a bowler and was member of the Industrial League. He was also a member of the United Brethren Church and the Cereal Workers Union.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Elizabeth; a daughter, Mrs. Lura Downey of Stockton, Calif.; six sons, WIlliam W.. of Rexburg, Idaho, Lester T., of Ogden, Utah; Homer N., of Idaho Falls Idaho, and Robert O., Russell C. and Walter L., all of Tacoma; two sisters, Mrs. Lura E. Patterson, of Turner, Ore., and Mrs. Berdie Caudle, of Idaho Falls; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grand-children.
Services will be announced by Mountain View Funeral Home.
