Bio

I love old cemeteries and the history that can be found on tombstones.

Most of the cemeteries in my area have already been documented by other volunteers. so my main contribution to this site is volunteer photo requests.

If I do add a memorial, it is usually someone near and dear to me. After I add a memorial, I spend A LOT of time researching archives and adding documented information. So, chances are that I will not transfer a memorial to you unless you fall under the Find a Grave guidelines and are more closely related. Read the guidelines. The virtual cemetery option is an awesome tool to collect your family names.

I am trying to add photos soon for the memorials that I have created. I you would like to see one that I haven't uploaded yet, let me know and I will put it to the top of my list.

I will be more than happy to make updates to the memorials that I maintain. But PLEASE make sure that your information is accurate and documented. Nothing is more frustrating than going down the wrong trail when someone guesses.

• I will not add obituaries unless they follow the Find a Grave guidelines.

• I will not add names of living relatives; it is an invasion of their privacy.

• I do not add death certificates; sometimes they contain information that is sensitive.

• I will not add unflattering information about a person, We need to maintain our respect for the dead. Plus, they are not around to defend themselves.
