Elton Ervin Buckner "Buck , 85 was born June 8, 1919, in Taylorsville, Texas. Buck was the 7th child of 14 children born to Ervin B. and Mary Kate Necessary Buckner. He went home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 5, 2005, in Austin, Texas He was married to Lorene Moore, who died on October 1, l987. He was a loving friend, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling. He will be missed and was loved very much. He is survived by his three children, Don Buckner and wife Connie of Austin, Judy Carmona and husband Bill of Leander and Penni Tippie of Ozona; grandchildren, Shantell Robinson and husband Rex, Wesley Buckner and wife Christina, Charla Fehr, Dusty Fehr, Shelley Renae Buckner and Ronnie Lee Jones; great-grandchildren, Melissa Buckner, Kelsey Buckner, and Marissa Buckner; loving companion Lois Essence and his brothers Curtis Buckner and sisters Juanita Hodge and husband Paul; Ferrell Robert; Irene Blisard and husband Glenn; Ovella Tumlinson, and Vada Rackel. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Norman, Ed, Vallon, Harvey, and sisters, Luella, Ruby and Gladys; thers, his grandson Marcus Damon Buckner and son-in-law Harold Tippie. The family will receive friends at Harrell Funeral Home on Monday, March 7, 2005, from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Oaks Memorial Park. Arrangements are with Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745
