Gladys V. Brubaker of Cresson, died Saturday, March 17, 1990 at Altoona Hospital. She was born Sept 11,1897, in Creson Shaft, the daughter of William F and Mary Margaret (Troxell) Cornelius, and married Walter Brubaker, who died May 14, 1976. Surviving are two daughters: Doris Reily and Lois Bradley of Cresson; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Grace McGonigle and Helen Yetka. Mrs Brubaker was a member of the Cresson United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Hulda Stephens; sons: Robert, William and Charles; sisters: Hannah Moore, Zelma Brennan, Madelin Tousseau and Gretta Koons; and brothers; Troxell, Clifford and Lorenzo.
