m: James Jenks Sr.
children: Frank, Ola, Budd, Golda and James M
Frank Jenks of this city was shocked and grieved early Friday morning when word was received that his mother, Mrs. Dora Jenks, had been found dead in her home at Mt. Auburn by a neighbor lady. The body was found lying on the bedroom floor beside the bed, which had not been occupied which showed that Mrs. Jenks had expired suddenly while preparing to retire for the night.
The deceased lady had been a guest in the home of her son in the city the week before and was in her usual good health, in fact she had intended going to Waterloo Friday morning to visit another son who resides in that city.
The deceased was the widow of James Jenks, who passed away at Mt. Auburn about seven years ago. She was highly respected by all who knew her and her sudden death is sincerely mourned by the entire community. Three sons and one daughter survive as follows: Frank Jenks of this city, James Jenks of Waterloo, Bud Jenks of Brandon, and Mrs. Goldie Calkins of Clear Lake, Wisconsin. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church at Mt. Auburn Sunday afternoon and interment was made in the Mt. Auburn cemetery.
