MAGNOLIA SPRINGS, Ala.—Services for Mary E. Carr, 88, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Wesleyan Church in Magnolia Springs. Burial will be in Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
A resident of Magnolia springs and a native of Napoleon, N.D., she died Tuesday.
Mrs. Carr was one of the founding members of the Wesleyan Church in Magnolia Springs and was the oldest member in the church.
She is survived by three sons, the Rev. George W. Carr of Semmes, Ala., the Rev. Richard Carr of Anderson, In., and Paul Carr of Sacramento, Calif.; three daughters, Elizabeth ‘Betty' Spriggs of New Buffalo, Mich., Rachel Blackmon of Mobile; and Arlene Segars of Parrish, Fla.; one sister, Bessie Lindsey of South Bend, Ind.; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bayview Funeral Home of Foley.
