ROTH, Olivia - Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Olivia resided in Elmira and was formerly of Baden. She was born in Wilmot Township 89 years ago a daughter of the late William and Lydia B. (Bender) Roth. She was a member of Grace Mennonite Fellowship RR #1, New Hamburg and enjoyed quilting, genealogy, gardening and had a deep love for her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Beloved wife of Alvin L. Roth who predeceased her in 1972. Loving mother of Wayne and Marjorie of Elmira, Delores and Darol Hammel of Kitchener, Robert and Cindy of Wiarton, Roger of Brucefield, Peter and Kim of Hamilton. Predeceased by her daughter, Shirley and her husband Chris Leis in 1998. Ever loved by 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Winnifred and Allan (predeceased) Schwartzentruber of Tavistock and Willetta and Elroy Boshart of New Hamburg. Olivia was also predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Matilda Roth, Nicholas and Nancy Roth, Mabel and Melvin Bender and Lorne and Irene Roth. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron St., New Hamburg today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at noon transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church, Baden for the service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Howard Bean and Pastor Earl Koch officiating. Burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Family and Childrens Services (Waterloo County) or the Children's Wish Foundation.
