Owen "Bud" Marcy, 87, of Lubbock, died Tuesday, at Covenant Medical Center. Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2009 from 4 to 5 p.m., with funeral services at 5 p.m. in the W.W. Rix Chapel. Burial will be on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Bud was born in Woodrow and was a life long area resident, who retired from Frito Lay.
He married Patsy McCrary on December 7, 1940 in Clovis, N.M. She survives him, along with their children, Larry Marcy, Bill Marcy, and Rita Stots; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and Bud's sister, Trixie Richardson, of Wolfforth.
