OCEAN SPRINGS- Edward Woodrow "Woody" Bossman, 76, Ocean Springs died Monday, February 26, 1990 in New Orleans.
Mr. Blossman was chairman of the Blossman Gas and the former owner of Trilby's restaurant in Ocean Springs. He was a graduate of Tulane University and was active in the YMCA and the banking industry. Mr. Blossman had residences in Ocean Springs, Perdido Key, Fla., and Marathon, Fla.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Arthemise Blossman of Ocean Springs; a daughter Mrs. George Burke of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a son John R. Blossmanof Ocean Springs; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Blossman Buquoi of Covington, Louisiana, Mrs. Dorothy Blossman Hollander and Mrs. Grace Blossman Hollister, both of Amite, Louisiana; two brothers, A. R. Blossman Sr., and R. S. Blossman Jr., both of Covington; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 tonight at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. The funeral will be at 11 AM Thursday at the Presbyterian Church in Ocean Springs, where friends may call from 9 AM until service time. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Ocean Springs. The family prefers memorials to ones favorite charity
