Edward Woodrow "Woody" Blossman,chairman of the board of Blossman Gas, died Monday at Ochsner Hospital. He was 76. Mr. Blossman was born in Covington and lived in Ocean Springs, Miss., for many years. He was a graduate of Tulane University and former owner of Tribly's Restaurant in Ocean Springs. He was active in the YMCA. Survivors include his wife, Arthemise Blossman of Ocean Springs; a daughter, Pat Burke of Baton Rouge; a son, John R. Blossman of Ocean Springs; three sisters, Edna Blossman Buquoi of Covington, and Dorothy Blossman Hollander and Grace Blossman Hollister, both of Amite; two brothers, A.R. Blossman Sr. and R.S. Blossman Jr., both of Covington; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
