FUNERAL RITES SUNDAY FOR FLOYD EVERETT THATCHER
Floyd Everett Thatcher, 67 years old, died Thursday at his home in the Pleasant Bethel community, following a three week illness. Mr. Thatcher was born May 26, 1887 in Owen County, a son of Isaac M. and Laura (Trent) Thatcher. He was a farmer. Mr. Thatcher was married June 15, 1908 to Helen Scott, who survives. Other survivors include seven daughters: Mrs. Gladys Colenbaugh, of Worthington; Mrs. Laura Fulk, of Indianapolis; Mrs Lillian Williams, of Martinsville; Mrs. Leona Rhoden, of Elkhart; Mrs. Geneva Abrams, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Lois Alumbaugh, of Indianapolis; five sons: Isaac Thatcher, of Worthington; Charles Thatcher, of Worthington; Lewis Thatcher, of Indianapolis; Clyde Thatcher, U.S. Navy; Howard Thatcher of Worthington; thirty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister: Mrs. Grace Sanford, of Wayne, Michigan; and two brothers: Clarence Thatcher, of Indianapolis and Fred Thatcher of Winnebago, Minnesota. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Pleasant Bethel Church. Rev. Keith Wilson officiated, and interment was made in the Pleasant Bethel Cemetery.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock (CST) Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Bethel Church for Floyd Everett Thatcher who died Thursday at his residence in the Pleasant Bethel Community. Rev. Keith Wilson will officiate and burial will be in the Pleasant Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence at any time.
