Mrs. Mary L. Grove, 39, operator at Virginia's Beauty Shop, 5 South Sixth St., was one of the explosion victims. She was the wife of Richard L. Grove and resided at Lewisburg, Ohio.
Born at West Elkton, Ohio, she was a member of the Lewisburg Methodist Church and of the Sigma Alpha Sorority in Richmond.
Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Sarah and Janita, at home, one of whom was injured in the blast and is a patient at Reid Memorial Hospital; a son, Richard, at home; her father, Pearl Gard of Richmond; four sisters, Mrs. Robert Pelfrey of Richmond, Mrs. Joseph Pickering of Greensfork, Mrs. Kenneth Houser of Richmond and Mrs. Jack Aukerman of Eaton, Ohio; three brothers, Robert Gard of Richmond, Fred Gard of Liberty rural route and Sam Gard of Lynn; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Kenneth Boger of Lucasville, Ohio, and a step grandchild.
Services for Mrs. Grove will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Church in Boston, with Rev. Lavern Skinner and Rev Arthur Wilson officiating. There will be no public calling. Arrangements are being handled by the
Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Boston Cemetery.
