Noah Franklin Dobbs was the son of Thomas Dobbs and Matilda Forest. His wife was Myrtie Adeline Forest.

"NOAH FRANKLIN DOBBS - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday at the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home for Noah Franklin Dobbs, 63, who died of a heart attack yesterday morning. Dobbs, a retired farmer, was the father of Willard Dobbs of Modesto and Bonnie Echols of Stockton. He was the brother of Joe Dobbs and Bennie Dobbs and the stepfather of Howard Smith, Shirley Maestas, Onis Smith, Ona Stewart, Allie Beeson, Alma Smith, Arlie Arnold and Elmo Smith. Six grandhildren also survive. A native of Missouri, Dobbs had lived here 13 years. Committal will be in the Lakewood Memorial Park." THE MODESTO BEE, MAY 4, 1954
