Former Town of Wilson Man Dies at Hospital
Harold Wilbur, 39, former resident of the Town of Wilson died Sunday at Minneapolis General Hospital of injuries suffered when he was struck by a car there.
He was born in Town of Wilson, Eau Claire County, and married Lucille Scott in February, 1932, in Stanley. They resided in Stanley, Boyd, and North Dakota, and in 1950 moved to Minneapolis.
He is survived by his wife, on son Duane, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Willstein(Wellsandt), Eau Claire, and Judy, at home, three grandchildren; two brothers, Loyal and Merle of Rt. 2 Boyd; four sisters, Mrs. Leonard Jones, Mrs. Willard Webster, and Mrs. Kenneth Rockwell, all of Williston, N.D. and Mrs. Lester Cooley, of Eau Claire; also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Wilbur of Eau Claire.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Stanley Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Walter Miller officiating. Interment was in the Edson Union Cemetery.
