Rulo Native Dead Of Heart Attack
A lifetime resident of Rulo, Mose Frederick, 68, died suddenly at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon of a heart attack at the family home. Mr. Frederick was tuning in the radio when he suffered the fatal attack. He died within a short time.
Mr. Frederick was born November 28, 1870, at Rulo. In his early life, he was engaged in the carpenter trade and in 1913 bought a lumber company in Rulo which he operated until 1924. He had been engaged in farming until retiring two years ago.
He was married 45 years ago to Miss Sarah Prenett.
Besides his widow, he is survived by five sons, Earl, Raymond, Arthur, Paul, and Ralph Frederick, all of Rulo: four daughters, Mrs. Chris Rohrbock, Alliance, Mrs. Charles Connors, Sun Rise, Wyo., Mrs. Tom Bojack, Rulo, and Mrs. Roy Murphy, Falls City; two brothers, Pete and Ben Frederick, both of Rulo; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Story, Nemaha, and Mrs. Ida Prickels, Ottumwa, Ia.; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Three children preceded the father in death.
Funeral arrangements have not been made.
